Requesting a Record of Your Data

If you want to request a record of the data we have about you, please call us at 941-474-3691 or email us at info@kobiecomplete.com.

SEER Savings Calculator

When visiting the calculator, we use your location to prefill the calculator with the energy costs and yearly cooling hours specific to your region. We do this by requesting your current location from your browser. If your browser is set to permit location inquiries or you allow your browser to send location information to us (your browser might show you a pop-up), we submit the latitude and longitude we receive from your browser to Google. Google then provides us with the state in which you are located. We then use the latitude and longitude to determine the closest city for which we have yearly cooling hours in our database.

Facebook Like Button

When visiting the SEER Savings Calculator, a popup opens after 15 seconds containing a Facebook Like button for our Facebook page. Depending on your Facebook privacy settings other people might be able to see that you like our Facebook page.

Furthermore, when the Like button is displayed and you are logged into your Facebook account, Facebook will be able to track and store information about your visit. To avoid this, please log out of your Facebook account prior to visiting the SEER Savings Calculator.

Visit Facebook’s Privacy Policy for more information.

Other 3rd Party Providers that Store and Process Your Data

  • Our website is hosted through Super Host USA. The data you provide in form submissions as well as your IP address will be stored in the website’s database in order to allow us to process your request. Furthermore, Super Host USA holds a server log of all website visits to help with security and diagnostics. The server log contains the visitor’s IP address but no information like name, phone number or email address.
  • An automated backup of our website is stored on Google Drive.
  • We use a Better Business Bureau (BBB) Accredited Business widget that displays our current rating with the BBB and links to our profile on the BBB website, so you can easily read our reviews. BBB or other companies they partner with may use this data to show you personalized ads. To hide personalized advertisement, clear your cookies (see below). For information on how BBB collects and stores data, please visit BBB’s Privacy Policy page.

Google Analytics

This website kobiecomplete.com is like millions of other websites using Google Analytics to gather information about site visitors and their behavior. We use Google Analytics to get an idea for:

  • how many visits our website gets
  • how visitors found our website
  • in which content they are interested
  • how long they stay on our website and on each individual page
  • what region they are from
  • what type of computer hardware and internet software they are using
  • demographics (incl. age, gender and interests collected through “Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting”)
  • and similar details

However, we do not send any additional personally identifiable information to Google Analytics and we do not merge submitted personal information through forms on our website with data from Google Analytics. The collected information is used only for statistics, which help us evaluate our website’s performance. User-level and event-level data stored by Google Analytics is set to be automatically deleted from Google’s servers after 26 months.

Furthermore, to protect our visitors’ privacy we request that Google anonymize each visitor’s IP address.

Remarketing through Google Analytics / Google Adwords

This website utilizes a marketing strategy called remarketing. In simple terms, what remarketing does is show advertisement on 3rd party websites to visitors of kobiecomplete.com. These ads remind past visitors about Kobie Complete’s services and inform them about things like our coupon offer, rebates or other company specific promotions and information.

In order to use remarketing, we implemented Google Analytics’ Advertising Features and connected our Google Analytics account with Google Adwords. Based on your location and your interaction with our website, Google might show you some of our remarketing ads on 3rd party websites.

To control which ads Google presents to you, visit Google’s Ad Preference page or use a browser plugin to disable strategies like remarketing completely.

Facebook Pixel

We use a Facebook Pixel (tracking code) to measure the performance of Facebook ads e.g. the number of goal completions such as form submissions resulting out of it. You can update your Facebook’s ad settings here.

Microsoft Advertising

Our website utilizes Microsoft’s Universal Event Tracking. It tracks the behavior of our website visitors which includes the tracking of conversion goals. We use this data to measure the success of our Microsoft Advertising campaigns and optimize them (e.g. bidding). Open Microsoft’s Privacy Policy

We may embed content on our website from third parties such as Google Maps or Youtube. Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracing your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

However, since this embedded content is not hosted by our web host, we do not have control of the cookies they use or what personal information they collect. Our Privacy Policy does not apply to them. Please see the third parties’ privacy policies for more information.
